Violin and Viola lessons offered locally in Jacksonville, NC
I am a classically trained, private violin and viola teacher in the Jacksonville area, and am currently accepting new students.
I have played the violin for 27 years, and played previously with the Richmond Symphony. I have taught for the last ten years, and currently have 27 students varying in age from 5-65. I am accomplished in music theory, and provide instruction for beginners, as well as intermediate and advanced players. Fundamentals, rhythm, the process of learning to count, to read music and learn notes are also covered.
I can also help current middle and high school violinists and violists improve upon their current skillset. Many of my students audition and place well in the All County Orchestra, Senior Regional Orchestra, and Honor's Orchestra.
I accept students of all ages. No one is EVER too old or too young to learn how to play the violin! Whether you've never picked up a violin in your life, a parent with a child in the school orchestra who requires extra help, or a player with previous experience, then look no further! My schedule is flexible, and I will be able to provide lessons at times which will be suitable to one's needs.
Call today, and let's create beautiful music together!
